Eisgruber has appointed a 11-member committee to search for a new dean of Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA). Cecilia Rouse, the school’s dean since 2012, has been nominated by President-elect Joe Biden to chair the ​Council of Economic Advisers​ (CEA). Mark Watson, the Howard Harrison and Gabrielle Snyder Beck Professor of Economics and Public Affairs, will serve as acting dean beginning Jan. 4.
