Some exotic foliage is livening up Montreal’s Ste-Catherine Street in the Village as film crews busily dress the commercial artery up to look like retro San Diego.
In a city where the nightlife is as iconic as the food scene, 20 of Montreal's bustling restaurants and bars in the Village will remain open until 6 a.m. for one night only this month. From October 7 until 8, 2023, the Village is hosting one final summer blowout before Montreal's rue Sainte-Catherine re-opens to cars.
Where does Montreal get all its outdoor fixtures for the summer? Some of them come from a workshop and warehouse owned by the city in Mercier–Hochelaga–Maisonneuve.
