Barbados performed exceptionally well at the recently concluded Annual XXVI Goodwill Swim Meet, in Trinidad and Tobago placing third in the regional competition.
The Barbados Aquatic Sports Association’s Long Course National Championship concluded on Sunday night at the Aquatic Centre with 16-year-old Amelie Baker joining the list of qualified Carifta swimmers. Baker won the 800m freestyle for 15-17 girls in 9:55.08 minutes, a “B” standard qualifying time for next month’s swimming championship.
