A Ross Twp. man accused of killing a 7-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle in a hit-and-run crash last year has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide charges.
After nearly a year, investigators say they have the suspect in a hit-and-run crash near Shickshinny that killed a 7-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle.
Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers has posted a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the hit-and-run death of a 7-year-old boy in Huntington Township earlier this year.
The grandmother of the 7-year-old boy killed last week by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bicycle near Shickshinny is pleading for the driver to come forward.
State police at Shickshinny said the driver of a dark pickup truck fatally hit Gabriel Bierly while he was riding his bike on Bonnieville Road in Huntington Twp. around 5:50 p.m. on March 5.
âHe knows he did it,â said Gabrielâs grandmother Dawn Bierly.
Investigators have asked local automotive shops to be on the lookout for suspicious repair requests for dark-colored pickup trucks. Police said they believe the person who struck Gabriel is aware they did so based on the impact and manner in which the vehicle fled.
