Down to the final strike in the game, the North Dakota State baseball team scored seven runs in the ninth inning Sunday to beat Omaha 10-4 in the series finale. The victory earned the Bison a split of the four-game series.
Bennett Hostetler, Zach Solano and Calen Schwabe each had a pair of hits for the Bison. Schwabe drove in three runs, while Nick Emanuel drove in a pair. All 10 Bison runs came from 10 different players.
Max Loven had a no-decision on the mound in 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on five hits, while striking out three. Parker Harm tossed two innings, allowing a run on three hits and three walks, while striking out a pair. Gabe Pilla moved to 1-1 with the win in 1.2 innings, striking out one and walking one, while allowing two hits.

OMAHA, Neb. (NDSU Athletics) – Down to the final strike in the game, the North Dakota State baseball team scored seven runs in the ninth inning Friday to beat Omaha 10-4 in the series finale. The victory earned the Bison a split of the weekend series.
The Bison improved to 18-8 overall and 7-5 in the Summit League, while Omaha dropped to 10-14 overall and 5-3 in the league. The game was the final scheduled road game of 26-straight to open the season, the most road games without playing a home game for any team in the country for the Bison. NDSU will host Western Illinois this weekend, with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. of a doubleheader on Friday, April 9 at Newman Outdoor Field.
