Daisy Cummins writes under the name Abby Green
The books I write are straightforward pure romances with alpha male heroes. There are other romances where the hero is more beta male but my heroes are more likely to be the swashbuckling tycoon.
The alpha male thing can come in for criticism but that is a fantasy that women are allowed to fantasise about. And if anyone knows the difference between fantasy and reality, it’s women. You can read the book and have that fantasy and then you can put the book down and get on with your life.
I just sent my 55th book to my editor. It’s about a former couple who get reunited. The hero has a jewellery business based in Paris so it’s dressed up with a lot of fantasy and glamorous locations, but ultimately you’ve got a couple who had a baby, split up and got back together.
