COLUMBUS, Ohio Ten members of the Ohio State women’s cross country team have received Academic All-Big Ten honors, the Big Ten Conference announced Thursday.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be on a varsity team, as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports, who have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Sophomore Gia Napoleon was recognized for carrying a 4.0 grade-point average.
In all, Ohio State had a school-record 120 honorees. The sports included are field hockey, football, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball.
