CLEVELAND (AP) â Luka Doncicâs below-the-belt swipe to Collin Sexton earned him an ejection. It didnât slow down the Dallas Mavericks.

Doncic received a flagrant-two foul â an automatic ejection â just 1:55 into the second half for hitting Sexton with âan aggressive strike to the groin area,â according to lead official David Guthrie. It occurred while jostling for position under the Cleveland basket.
âI knew I hit him, but I didnât know where until I saw the replay,â Doncic said. âIt wasnât nothing on purpose. That stuff happens a lot in the game. It was just two guys fighting for a rebound, I guess.â
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) â To Steve Kerr, Dallas looked like a team in the playoffs while Golden State remained stuck in an exhibition game.
Luka Doncic scored 39 points and the short-handed Mavericks jumped on Golden State from the start to thump the Warriors 133-103 on Tuesday night.
âBiggest game of the year and it was over before it started,â said Kerr, whose team trailed by as many as 43.
Stephen Curry scored 27 points with five more 3-pointers, extending his NBA record for 3-pointers in a month to 90 in April. He had passed James Hardenâs 82 in November 2019 on Sunday.
âChasing Steph Curry around has got to be the hardest job in all of basketball, pro, college, international, you name it,â Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. âThe guy has been on just a tear over the last month. Trey Burke rose to the challenge, he just chased him all over the place and we had plenty of help.
