Gophers update: They broke a four-game losing streak overall with three of the losses coming in Big Ten play with an overtime victory at Wisconsin on Sunday. Now the Gophers (2-4, 1-3 Big Ten) will be looking for their first victory vs. the Hawkeyes since Lindsay Whalen took over in 2018; she is 0-3 vs. Iowa, including a one-point loss last year in which the Hawkeyes came back from 13 down with 9:08 left. Whalen liked a lot of what happened in Wisconsin, including her team generating 19 assists and just 10 turnovers, the way her team attacked the Wisconsin zone particularly the way Kadi Sissoko and Laura Bagwell-Katalinich played a two-player high-low game and the Gophers off
