The
OTI syndicate has spent decades flying in spring raiders in a bid to win its first
Melbourne Cup but this year, in a climate of uncertainty for internationals, OTI is marshalling its ground troops.

Terry Henderson said OTI could have up to a dozen contenders for the rich spring staying races, with the Melbourne Cup the ultimate target.
OTI also has three promising stayers in Ireland who will be subjected to new pre-departure vest testing prior to potentially joining a local squad spread among a handful of local trainers.
