The Fremont Business Improvement District Board discussed its budgeting for the rest of the year and its involvement in Fremontâs comprehensive plan at its meeting Tuesday afternoon.
Chairman Tom Coday said along with the other two recently elected members of the Future Projects Committee, Jerry Johnson and Brendan Murray, they would develop a five-year budget for the board.
As BID prepares for its appeal for another term this November, Coday said he was looking for issues its members had been seeing, such as one-way streets, parking or drainage.
âI did get a response from Ginger [Rosenthal] and Vince [OâConnor], but Iâd like if the rest of you guys could just send me a couple of things youâre concerned about in the downtown,â he said.

Although the board approved MainStreet to spend up to $750 on the project, Executive Director Shannon Mullen said only $250 had to be spent.
With a quarterly newsletter only costing $1,000 annually, Coday said he believed more should be sent out prior to meeting with the city council in November.
âSome of them could be an invitation to a public meeting, or we could tell them what weâre thinking and get some input,â he said.
Although the newsletter contained information on the tax levy and valuations, Member Kevin Main said he would have liked to have seen more information on BIDâs purpose and work.
