Artist Mike Alexander, from Swan Lake First Nation, is currently working on a piece for travelling exhibition 'Honouring our Grandmothers,' which sees him paint a bentwood box crafted by Stó:lō and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) master carver Peter Wayne Gong.
