Leaders Bashundhara Kings took a 2-1 lead over Brothers Union Limited at half time in their 15th match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital on Friday.
Kings’ Brazilian midfielder Jonathan da Silveira Fernandes opened the account in the 21st minute before Brothers’ Uzbek defender Furqatjon Hasanboev levelled the margin in the 36th minute.
Kings went into half time with a lead after their Brazilian forward Robson Azevedo da Silva Robinho scored for them in the 45th minute.
They earlier beat Brothers by a solitary margin in the first leg game in Cumilla.
