influenza, we have an antiviral agent, tamiflu, who can lessen the severity of that illness. now we have an oral medication that can also do the same thing. in the pivotal trial, folks that took paxlovid early, within three days of symptom onset, had a 90% reduction in hospitalization or death compared to those that took the placebo. this is a very, very potent agent, and you re not going to need to go to a hospital to get an infusion like monoclonal antibodies. this is going to be an oral regimen. again, this is just another way we re going to be able to live with this disease going forward. and just to sort of under line the simplicity and ease and convenience of this, this would be i m reading it would be a three-tablet dose taken twice daily for five days in that early onset of symptoms and diagnosis. it s obviously great news. where do you rank it in terms of the toolkit we have now in this
