That may be something there right now is not how they would do it currently but that is how the people of a Second Generation night have done it and they honor that. It is a way to move forward and recognizing the future will have complicated conversations around the individual character and style and what it may mean. I hand this to staff to talk about the recent community process. Good afternoon. I will talk about racial and social equity tool for this project. We hold two Community Workshops in cooperation with the task force, a communityled group. It can be classified in three categories. Some felt it is happening quickly. Concern is that the property and Business Owners may hav may be. Others say most Community Members have been reached and any level of protection by the guidelines is better than none. Secondly, there were many comments regarding the applicabilities of the Design Guidelines. Members of the Community Felt it was too limited if applied only to japan town. Planning b
Taxes. The governor ended up vetoing the bill, that allows the commission through their guideline process to move forward with the perspective that they had shown the last time around. Looking forward, there were several items that i believe will be seeing early on in the year. First, the legislature has the first of several hearings, at least two hearings on new mobility and the facing the state. Last year legislation that was moving through, particularly the bill that we had concerns to try to work with her. I think this hearing was eyeopening for the members of the Assembly Transportation committee as well as the senate and local government committee. That was a joint hearing basis. Because they started looking at the need for data and why you need the data. There was a very robust conversation particularly with input from sfmta, a representative there, as well as la county. Why they need the data to develop the responses from the challenges that arise. I believe at the next hearing
Let me tell you, this centre is long overdue in the Omi Community. [cheers and applause] i want to start by thanking supervisor safaye, who is really, i think the best supervisor district 11 has ever had. Let me tell you, because of his work and advocacy, we are bringing more resources than ever to this community. We saved 21 units just on Mission Street where low income families were facing eviction. He took the leadership, we purchased that property and protected those units for generations to come. [cheers and applause] we know that you want your library and supervisor safaye and i are working to get it done for this community, making sure that even though sometimes i know over the years you felt forgotten, your supervisor and your mayor, were doing everything we can to continue to focus on bringing resources to this community. [cheers and applause] and you know, you only have to look at the data to know that a place to provide Employment Opportunities should have been here a long t
Some wet roads in those areas that will continue to make its way to the south. As we take a look at san jose, and see when that rain may get here, it looks like it will be a little bit later around 11 00 to 12 0037 we start out the morning with dry conditions so good news there. Well talk more about whats ahead. Mike, you have a couple of east bay crashes. Thats right, one of them is near the shoulder, i passed by that on 880. Well talk about that near stephenson coming up. I had slowing that showed up until a couple of seconds ago as we were taking the air i saw the eastbound slowing for 580 clear up. The crash is westbound at the Center Divide, they had four lanes blocked, now just one, this crash is being cleared up and a lot of debris west 580 approaching highway 13. No major injuries and that should be clearing soon. Those slowdowns we saw may have been a result of the traffic break. Ill let you know as things approach the bay bridge which is just fine. Back to you. Thank you. Bre
