The Carson City School District is asking parents to mark their calendars for Monday, March 4, to begin registering children who will be 5-years-old by Sept. 30, 2019, and eligible for Kindergarten for the coming 2019-2020 school year.
While most of New Jersey's more than 590 school districts have added full day Kindergarten to their programs by 2023 — this handful still have not. One district is voting on the issue Nov. 7.
