感染者の急激な増加について藤田副病院長は「7月下旬に増加に転じるなど昨夏の第2波と同じ経過をたどっている。冷房で飲食店や会社の換気が悪くなった影響では」と分析した。
国は入院対象を重症者や重症化リスクが高い人に限る方針を示し、急増が見込まれる自宅療養者の容態把握が課題になっている。受診ができず不安で精神状態が悪くなる人もいる。平田会長は「自宅療養者に対しての医療は“空白”だった。安心してもらえる取り組みにしたい」と述べた。 （斉藤幸奈、下崎千加）
