Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Centers will hold a car wash fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 27 at ‘Ohana Fuels, 85 S. Wakea Avenue in Kahului. The event is part of the nonprofit agency’s partnership with ‘Ohana Fuels and its “Fuel Up. Do Good.” Program.
A total of $6,801.48 was raised from car washes and support from Ohana Fuels’ ʻFuel Up. Do Good.’ program, which is offered at more than eight Hawai‘i Island Ohana Fuels locations.
These funds benefit Maui Youth & Family Services programs, including mental health and substance abuse treatment, emergency shelter and therapeutic foster homes, outreach and advocacy, independent living and substance use prevention programs.
