MADISON, Wis. Nearly 300 local law enforcement agencies plan to participate in Drug Take Back Day on Saturday in an effort to give Wisconsinites a “safe, convenient and responsible” way to get rid of any unused prescription drugs.
“Last year, Wisconsin’s Drug Take Back led the nation, and Wisconsinites can help our state remain a national leader in this important effort to fight prescription painkiller abuse,” Attorney General Josh Kaul said. “By bringing your unused and unwanted medications to a drug disposal box, you can help prevent the misuse of prescription drugs.”
