Over 200 alumni of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) have expressed solidarity with the students after they were allegedly attacked by right-wing activists. The incident occurred after the students put up a banner condemning the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992. The alumni have condemned the violence and called for prompt action against the perpetrators. The police have registered FIRs against both the attackers and three students.
