FRUITLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. â Two people are dead following a crash in Fruitland Township this afternoon, according to Capt. Shane Brown with the Muskegon County Sheriffâs Office.
Weâre told the crash happened at the intersection of Whitehall Road and Riley-Thompson Road.
The sheriff s office says a northbound Ford Fusion driven by a 22-year-old male failed to yield to traffic during an attempt to turn west. That was when he turned in front of another Ford Fusion, which was driven by a 69-year-old female, authorities tell us.
