Pladis Unveils Wave Of Activity For Go Ahead Brand

18th January 2021 Pladis has announced a programme activity for 2021 across its £29m Go Ahead brand covering NPD, an ATL campaign, and a packaging and logo overhaul. As part of its NPD pipeline, the low calorie snacking brand is launching Go Ahead Fruity Cake Bites – a cake snack with two filling variants – zesty Orange & Lemon and juicy Raspberry & Strawberry. The product comes in multipacks of five individually portioned packs which are under 100 calories each and high in fibre. Alongside this comes Go Ahead Fruit & Fibre Slices – an extension of the brand’s ‘slices’ portfolio. The crispy baked biscuits contain sultanas, a chewy fruity filling and finished with a sprinkle of oats and bran to create a softer texture. There are two variants – Strawberry and Blueberry – which contain 56 calories per slice and are high in fibre.
