Life will never be quite the same for two Kiwi food innovators who are set to see their fledgling products in New World stores right across the country, after winning the nationwide FoodStarter competition. LILO Desserts plant-based cheesecakes won the start-up category, while Kaitahi As One wowed the judges with their innovative Frozen Superfood Smoothy Drops and were named winners in the category for small suppliers with New World. FoodStarter finds New Zealand s most innovative food and beverage products, with winners taking home an incredible package of support to help them scale up their product to take its place in all New World supermarkets across New Zealand.
