Sony has unveiled three new smartphones under its Xperia series including the Xperia 1 III, the Xperia 5 III, and the Xperia 10 III. Among the three new devices, the Xperia 1 III is the company’s latest premium smartphone, the Xperia 5 III brings flagship’s features, while the Xperia 10 III is designed for the mid-range market. The pricing details of the Sony Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 III, and Xperia 10 III have not been revealed yet. The company has officially announced that all three Sony phones will go on sale in select markets in early summer. The exact availability date hasn’t been revealed yet. Sony has launched its flagship phone lineup for the year with a focus on introducing new camera technology to the smartphone market. Sony Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 III, and Xperia 10 III (pronounced- Mach 3) are the three phones unveiled by the company and set to go on sale in select markets this summer.

The Sony Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 III and Xperia 10 III all share a similar design language. All three feature a tall and narrow build, flat slab design and they all offer rounded corners. The Xperia 1 III has squarer edges than the Xperia 5 III and Xperia 10 III, and the Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III have a Google Assistant button on their right edge compared to the Xperia 10 III.
There s a physical fingerprint sensor built into the power button on the right edge of all three devices though, they all have their camera housings positioned in the top left corners of their rears and they all come with IP65/68 water and dust resistance.

Sony has revealed its latest Android flagship smartphone, and the Sony Xperia 1 III 5G continues the company’s push to make photography its biggest selling point. Tapping features previously only offered on Sony Alpha cameras, along with a 6.5-inch 120Hz 4K OLED 21:9 display, the Xperia 1 III also introduces the world’s first variable optical telephoto lens.
It’s something Sony is particularly proud of, not to mention keen to distinguish between other periscope lenses we’ve already seen on high-end smartphones. In the case of the Xperia 1 III, the 12-megapixel Exmor RS for Mobile sensor can switch between 70mm and 105mm discrete focal lengths.
