but ironically temperatures may be a little higher than today across some parts of england and wales. we start with a chilly start across southern parts of england south and wales, some frost patches and across scotland where we have clearer skies. the rain is pushing slowly northwards across northern england, coming to rest across northern ireland and southern scotland. to the north some sunshine away from the low cloud in the north east and across england and a little bit of sunshine triggering some showers, maybe some wetter weather in the far south west. temperatures are evening out on saturday. still rather chilly but could make 16 degrees in the sunshine in parts of scotland. certainly more unsettled because we have low pressure dominating the weather and that will still be hanging around into the second half of the weekend. quite a messy picture again for sunday, this time we have more showers across western areas, where there could be a bit of sunshine. maybe showers or longer

air recirculating back around the high and particularly moving into northern areas of the uk, where we ll see the highest temperatures, particularly for northern scotland. saturday, mist and fog could be an issue first thing in the morning. 0therwise, we ve got some patchy of frost, but then we ll have some sunshine to compensate across central and eastern areas. in the west, it continues to turn milder, but that s because we ve got extensive cloud, thick enough to bring some rain to western scotland, where temperatures reach 11 celsius. second half of the weekend, again, we could go into sunday with some fog patches around. some of it could be quite dense, a few frost patches as well. overall, a little bit more in the way of cloud for most areas, with some mist and hill fog patches around the coasts, a bit of drizzle for western scotland, where it ll continue to be particularly mild. that s your weather.
