The PrintWeek Awards was held at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on 2 November, 2022. Held after a hiatus of two years, the awards show saw the who’s who of the industry in attendance.
As an entire segment of the business sat idle, there were some like Nutech Print Services, which were able to overcome the disruptions, dig deep into their resources, including human resources, to resume their activities, soon after the announcement of the first lockdown in the last week of March 2020.
The Jury Day for the PrintWeek Awards is finally here. The full-day event with an elite panel of 25 jury members who will judge the Awards has commenced. Noel D'cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek and WhatPackaging? magazines said, "This year the industry response has been stupendous. We’re pleased to announce that the PrintWeek Awards has entries from more than 112 print firms and packaging converters across India."
Following a successful PrintPack 2022, where the company announced deals worth more than USD 1-million, Faridabad-based NBG Printographic Machinery is now set to celebrate excellence in print.
Considering the pandemic and the wrath it brought upon the print and and packaging industry in the last couple of years, PrintWeek Awards will be recognising those who exceptionally survived it. The pandemic fallout continues to impact the industry as print businesses hit the buffers and try to survive. There have been innumerable instances of debts and turnover plummeting. In all this there is a ray of hope. This is what PrintWeek is celebrating during the 12th edition of its Annual Awards.
