The Coshocton Public Library has opened its StoryWalk project at Clary Gardens, 588 W. Chestnut St., Coshocton.
The project was funded in part by a donation from the Frontier Community Connection Fund. StoryWalk is a literacy-based walking trail designed for families to read together while being outdoors. Laminated pages from a children s book are placed in stands along an outdoor path. It will display the book “Giraffes Can’t Dance” by Giles Andreae over the course of the summer. New books will be installed seasonally.
The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
