Her family is fighting back. Theyve hired a major defense attorney and theyre taking the cdc and Health Official to task. They say it is untrue and hurtful that vinson ignored the protocol and put others at risk by taking commercial flights between dallas and cleveland. They insist she did everything properly, consuling Health Officials and the cdc repeatedly throughout her trip. Dallas hospital has been downgraded from good to fair after being transferred to the National Institutes of Health Clinical center in maryland. An email from the ceo of Frontier Airlines says this woman, amber vinson, may have been at a more advantaged stage of the illness than first thought when she traveled on Frontier Airlines flights between dallas and cleveland. The email to employees says crew members on the flights are at a very low risk of exposure.
