A 49-year-old Westminster man is awaiting trial on federal drug distribution charges which involve - for the first time in Colorado's known history - Ibogaine, a drug only approved for use in three foreign countries.

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. â One man was arrested when authorities discovered about 20 pounds of suspected methamphetamine in Adams County.
On Jan. 7, authorities arrested Fernando Arellano Villa-Gomez, 22, in Westminster, the Adams County Sheriff s Office said. While details weren t available, the sheriff s office said authorities recovered more than 20 pounds of suspected methamphetamine in connection to his arrest.
The arrest was the result of a collaborative effort by the Front Range Task Force, North Metro Drug Task Force, and Westminster Police Department.
