An opening reception for the three shows will be September 10 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the LAA's new location, 1019 Auburn Avenue in Lafayette's Oil Center.
A blend of well known jazz artists and regional talent will perform in the expanding Hudson Valley Jazz Festival, August 18-21, in its 13th season. This year the series includes shows in Ulster County.
This summer, check out five notable works of art on view in the region: Margaret Noble at Plumosa Park; Phillip K. Smith III at OMA; Natalia Ventura at The Front; Chris Burden and Bryon Kim at MCASD downtown; and Alika Cooper at Oolong Gallery.
