Described as the “unofficial lovechild of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Run DMC” The Frisky Gypsys new single Lil' Funk Song is set for release on September 22. And it will be performed live for the first time a week later as part of the band’s inaugural music festival ‘The Frisky Fest’ in the Wexford Arts Centre.
When it comes to fighting back against adversity musicians and songwriters can often lead the posse.
That fact has been exemplified during the pandemic by the amount of musicians who have embraced the online life and showcased their work through streamed gigs and showcases.
Some acts have also not let the current crisis get in the way of their plans to unleash their music on the world and one of those is The Frisky Gypsys, whose debut EP, Dream Big is an absolute delight.
The completion of the EP is a testimony to the sheer grit and determination of a band that has the capacity to succeed in the entertainment industry.
