鏖战12小时，无锡消防增援新乡首次任务圆满成功
当晚8时35分左右，救援队伍到达现场，此时当地积水情况严重，低洼地区积水最深处达1米多，周边3个小区全部被围，大水影响到了数万群众的正常出行。救援队伍分成两批，一批指战员立即投入救援，其余人就地休整，作为轮换作战第二梯队和现场后勤保障力量，为持久作战做好充分准备。
据介绍，救援行动期间，多名当地群众主动进入积水区域，协助消防指战员铺设及调整排水管道，更有大量附近居民闻讯前来为救援人员递送饮用水等补给物资。在指战员和群众的共同努力下，供水干线顺利贯通，大量积水被迅速排入河流之中。按照既定作战计划，消防指战员每四小时换班轮战。24日早上7点30分，现场双向主干道积水得到基本排空。
