Carson City Library’s Pedal Library will be busy delivering books to students attending summer school. Now through the end of June, the teardrop trailer pulled behind a bike will provide up to 60 pounds of books available at each school within the Carson City School District. The mobile library will also offer mobile wifi and charging station soon.
The all new Browsers Corner Book Store run by the Friends of the Carson City Library opened last week to hundreds of eager buyers, and the books flew off the shelves. Customers were surprised with five rooms of books for adults, a bright and colorful area for children’s books and audio visual items, all for sale at bargain prices.
