Local acoustic cover band, Stolen Grace, is featured in January s Livestream with Heritage Center to grace us all with a bit of music and fun from home! Stolen Grace proudly, plays a little bit of everything! From classic rock hits, to country tunes, to modern pop favorites, Stolen Grace marks their sound with an unmatched Midwest flare! Born out of Dubuque, Iowa, the trio is comprised of University of Dubuque Alumni, Tiffiney Kavars (C 14/MBA 16), Dylan McKee (C 16), and Jake Ramos (C 20). Each member is talented in vocal music and guitar. Tune in for an exclusive, Where Are They Now interview with the band, and a jam session that will have your household hopping!
Actor Patrick Dewane will return virtually to University of Dubuque Heritage Center for Live(stream) with Heritage Center at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at @UDBQMedia on YouTube.
Dewane will perform excerpts from a sequel to âThe Accidental Hero,â set in World War II at Christmas.
In 2017, Dewane performed his multimedia one-man show, âThe Accidental Hero,â at Heritage Center. The performance brought to life archival material Dewane found in his late grandfatherâs basement.
In the sequel, a soldier finds Christmas peace in the middle of a battlefield. Another soldier dresses as Santa Claus and, 30 years later, is a hero in Europe. In Minnesota, a furry green cartoon character finds magic in a Mayo Clinic hospital visit.
