Pounds / Hearst Connecticut Media Trumbull EMS will celebrate EMS Week with a series of family activities at an open house Saturday, May 15. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at EMS headquarters, 250 Middlebrooks Ave. The outdoor event will follow social distancing and safety protocols. Among the family activities will be an EMS scavenger hunt, bandage-a-bear, hands-only CPR, touch-a-truck, a photo booth and more. Representatives of the Trumbull police and fire departments, My Friend Abby and other community groups also will be on-hand. Jim’s Ice Cream Truck also will be handing out frozen treats.
