Greenbank Police Station A NEIGHBOUR dispute over a £10 debt ended in violence. Blackburn magistrates heard Beverley Ann Smith kicked and punched Damien Berry before smashing a window at his home which was next-door to her. After her arrest she tried to head butt a female police officer while she was being processed at Greenbank police station. Smith, 48, of Lower Hollin Bank Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Berry and PC Darby and casing £200 worth of damage to a rear window. She was remanded on bail until March 10 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
