were on friday mornings jobs report and thankfully it was good news, the white house calling it a blockbuster repor the highly anticipated report showed the u.s. added 313,000 new jobs in february beating expectations. we saw more workers getting into the labor force and able to find jobs. economists partly attributing the unexpected boost in jobs to lower corporate tax rate. this is the biggest gain since july 2016 a clear indication that the economy is strong and growing. following the numbers president trump tweeted jobs jobs jobs hashtag make america great again meanwhile for a fifth consecutive month unemployment held steady at 4.1%, a 17-year low, and wage growth which has been in focus since last month s report came in softer than expected at 2.6% helping ease inflation concerns. it was january s higher-than-expected average hourly earnings growth that led to concerns that wage pressure could lead to higher inflation.
