sandra: you had a huddle with the big four yesterday in your office specifically talking daca. what can you tell us came out of that meeting? this is a meeting based upon the meeting we had the day before with the president where he brought the senate and the house republican and democrats together to do something about daca, border security, the chain migration, and the lottery system. so we had a follow-up meeting with that with the leaders to start mapping out our areas to start having those meetings moving forward and i thought it was good progress and i m looking forward to the next meeting. sandra: what specifically are you hearing from democrats as to their willingness to bend on daca, because all you hear from the chuck schumers is that there is no deal. the deadline is coming up fast next friday, january 19th, to fund the government. they say there is no deal without a daca fix. are you seeing any areas in which they are willing to bend? in that meeting with the
points that the two sides agreed upon that s the negotiating table that s been set and that s where the president wants to lead this country. harris: hogan, you can t deny the point that this puts pressure on the president s plans to have a judge act in this way. what should we look from the justin department next? this has happened before. you have to ask the justice department what they are going to do on the issue. they issued a statement similar to ours this morning. it doesn t deter what the president wants to do. in fact, he is more determined than ever these things have to be fixed. they have been ignored for far too long. we have seen the dangers that are occurred attached to chain migration and visa lottery program with two recent terrorist attacks. the president believes not only the facts are on his side, the american people are on his side but the constitution is on his side as well. harris: does the white house think, does the president think this will get done by ne
democrats have set a different day for action next friday, january 19th. this is the need to process applications with the expiration dates. according to homeland security secretary, they must take place. ace federal district court judge in northern california ruled that the department of homeland security mutt resume accepting applications which the trump administration halted. the judge ruled that dhs does not have to consider new applications and called the government s defense to halt the program arbitrary and capricious. switching to politics, former arizona sheriff joe arpaio has announced his bid to run for jeff flake s position. the 85-year-old was pardoned by
