Shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Friday Albany police repsponded to a shots fired call on the 300 block of First Street where they say that another vehicle drove by and opened fire on a parked car.
Both of the vehicles had fled the area, but one of the cars caught fire and stopped in area near Green Street and Madison Ave.
There have been no reported injuries.
At this time, the investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Detective Division at 518-462-8039.
