Woman rescued after getting stuck in the mud at Colwell Bay

HM Coastguard called the fire service for assistance with the rescue at Bramble Chine, Colwell Bay, at around 6.30pm. Pictures of the rescue, courtesy of Freshwater Fire Station. She was rescued thanks to a team effort by fire crews from Newport, Ryde and Freshwater, plus Needles and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Teams. The incident was declared over within the hour.
