Spring practice is in full gear for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team. If you are in the Atlanta area, you can attend the open practices on Saturdays. If not or you’d just like to see some highlights from the press conferences, including player takes, this article has just that for you. In particular the running backs are featured in these videos this includes Dontae Smith, Jordan Mason, and Jahmyr Gibbs. The annual spring game isn’t too far away. Who is excited for the spring game?

Christo Lamprecht fired a closing 2-under-par 70 Tuesday to finish in a tie for third place, including an eagle at the final hole that helped lift Georgia Tech into a second-place finish at the Calusa Cup golf tournament.
Will Dickson shot 71 Tuesday, and
Ben Smith fired a 73 to finish in a tie for ninth for the Jackets.
Tech, which began the day just a shot behind No. 2 Oklahoma for the lead after 36 holes, couldn’t keep up with the Sooners Tuesday but did maintain its second-place position with a 1-over-par total of 289. The Yellow Jackets wound up eight strokes behind Oklahoma, but finished ahead of top-ranked Florida State, No. 15 Florida, No. 8 Texas and No. 7 Wake Forest on the final leaderboard.

Christo Lamprecht fired a 3-under-par 69 Monday, leading three Georgia Tech players posting subpar rounds and lifting the Yellow Jackets into second place, within one stroke of the lead after 36 holes of the Calusa Cup.
Against a field in which five of the nine teams are ranked in the top 15, and seven in the top 50, Georgia Tech posted a 4-under-par round of 284 and overtook powerhouses Florida and Florida State, the top two teams after opening day, and are a shot behind No. 2 Oklahoma entering Tuesday’s final round at Calusa Pines Golf Club. The Jackets are in the final groups of the day paired with the Sooners and Texas, teeing off at 9:19 a.m.

Luka Karaulic each shot 75 to lead No. 20 Georgia Tech Wednesday, and
Will Dickson earned his second top-15 finish in a row as the Yellow Jackets finished seventh at the Southwestern Invitational.
On a cloudy day with temperatures in the low 50s, winds of 20 miles per hour and minimal rain at North Ranch Country Club, the Yellow Jackets posted a 17-over-par score of 305 Tuesday. Tech finished seventh in a field loaded with some of the nation’s top programs with a 38-over-par total of 902. The 11 of the 12 teams posted scores in double digits in relation to par Tuesday on the 6,992-yard, par-72 layout. The team that didn’t, San Diego State with a 5-over-par 293, rallied to win the team title.
