Daniell was elected as a doubles specialist.
The Masteron born 31 year old has won five doubles titles and hit a career high ranking of 34 in 2018.
The elections were confirmed a day after world number one Novak Djokovic pulled out of the elections.
Djokovic recently withdrew his nomination for the council, the governing body for men s tennis, citing conflict of interest because of his role in the Professional Tennis Players Association.
The Serb set up the breakaway PTPA on the eve of the US Open in September after he resigned as the head of the player council.
