The Last Duel, which sees Affleck reuniting with Matt Damon on-screen again. Affleck will play Count Pierre d’Alençon in the film, which is based on the historical duel that saw Knight Jean de Carrouges face off against Jacques Le Gris. As the name alludes to, it’s historically significant as it was the last judicial duel permitted by French King Charles VI. It will be released on October 15, 2021, by 20th Century Studios.
