Qualification postponed in Titisee-Neustadt on the largest hill ever

Difficult weather conditions For the Women’s World Cup, Titisee-Neustadt in Germany is the first Large Hill in this season and definitely the largest ever. Ready to compete on this Hochfirstschanze hill of 142m, 57 women were jumping this afternoon. The rain was quite strong but this didn’t prevent the athletes to enjoy the hill for the first training round. Due to the strong wind and weather conditions, the jury decided to cancel the second training round and the qualification was postponed until tomorrow. Postponed to 16.30 already because of difficult weather conditions, the first training was nevertheless carried out smoothly. Current leader Austrian Marita Kramer fell after landing but remained the best in the first (and only fully completed) training round with a jump of 136 m but the longest jump was posted by Slovenian Nika Kriznar with 143.5 m.
