Benzema joined former Los Blancos teammate and captain Raul in fourth position on the all-time Champions League goalscoring standings on Tuesday when he netted a well-taken equaliser in Los Blancos 1-1 semi-final first-leg draw against Chelsea. Following his strike against the Blues, the former France international has now netted 71 times in the competition – a return that places him behind only Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
