The Lorain County Metro Parks Board has approved the purchasing and donation of land for two Sheffield Village reservations.
The park district is planning to purchase 45.41 acres as a portion of the French Creek Reservation, 4540 French Creek Road, as well as accept a donation of 39.77 acres from Cedar Tree Propertiesfor the Sheffield Lake Reservation, located on Harris Road.
The resolutions were passed at a Dec. 17 board meeting after an executive session.

He said a few weeks ago, there was an outbreak of positive virus and quarantine cases among the parks rangers.
