Fortunately we know just the spot - Maidstone s High Level Rail Bridge.
The bridge that spans the River Medway nestles in the heart of Maidstone - Kent s county town of love.
For those not familiar with the area, rest assured that you don t have to walk down the rail-lines to access this romantic idyll - there is a public footbridge running parallel to the tracks from which the view is every bit as beautiful as that from the Pont des Arts in gay Paree.

Striking photographs show a usually busy town centre almost completely empty after dozens of shops were forced to close.
Non-essential stores across the county have shut after new Tier 4 restrictions, announced yesterday by Boris Johnson, were introduced today.

Pictures sent to KentOnline show the centre of Maidstone looking eerily quiet, with just a smattering of visitors in main shopping district.
A resident said: The town is overall very quiet, but a few pockets of people have ventured out.

As you drive towards Maidstone on the A249, the silhouette of a pirouetting ballerina in the centre of a footbridge comes into view.
Underneath just two words are written: Jade s Crossing.
Jade s Crossing is passed by commuters every day
Many commuters driving under the bridge, which spans the A249 at Detling, may not know the terribly sad reason the structure was built and the tireless road safety campaigning which continued afterwards.
Twenty years ago today, eight-year-old Jade Hobbs and her grandma Margaret Kuwertz, 79, died while on their way to the shops, after walking across the dual carriageway, which was near their home in Pilgrims Way. Both were struck by a car.
