Pakistan Idol is a reality-singing competition series created by Simon Fuller produced by 19 Entertainment TV Ltd. and distributed by FremantleMedia Enterprises. It began airing on Geo Entertainment on December 6, 2013, as an addition to the Idols format based on the British series Pop Idol after the Geo TV acquire the production rights of franchise in 2007, due to abstruse quandaries of production and on security grounds rectification of franchise stops back but director and producer of content head Saad Bin Mujeed confirmed that show has been began its broadcasting in December, 2013.
David Ellender to Lead CSSE-Backed Halcyon

Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (CSSE) has set up the scripted production company Halcyon Television, to be led by industry veteran David Ellender.
CSSE will launch the scripted television studio with Ellender as CEO upon the closing of the previously announced Sonar asset acquisition. The closing of the 1,300 title television and film library, scripted development portfolio and the existing TV series drama production is expected to take place in the near future.
Ellender had been serving as CEO of Sonar. Prior to this, he was CEO at Slingshot Global Media and served as CEO of FremantleMedia Enterprises.
