The third month of the year was really a tale of two experiences – things that happened before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, and everything that wasn’t happening after it was implemented.
Cornwall had become an epicentre of sorts for COVID-19 news and all its attendant worries, as a group of Canadians who’d been passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship completed their 14-day quarantine at the Nav Centre. By all accounts it was a pretty ho-hum experience no one tested positive for the disease while here, and despite the inconveniences of another quarantine, visitors lauded the professionalism and attention given by those charged with their care.
