Peoria man accused in another gas station robbery

PEORIA – A Peoria man might have robbed more than one gasoline station this week, according to law-enforcement authorities. Johnny L. Bailey was accused of robbing the Circle K gas station at 4245 N. Knoxville Ave. According to Peoria police, that armed robbery Tuesday night happened a day before the 23-year-old Bailey was arrested in connection with the same crime at a West Peoria gas station. In the Peoria case, officers responded about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday to the Circle K at the southwest corner of Knoxville and Lake avenues. There they were told a man armed with a gun demanded money from the clerk, then fled on foot.
